This scheme can be availed in three ways

Under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana, farmers will be given ponds, hatcheries, feeding machines, quality testing labs.

In this section, farmers will be given recirculatory aquaculture, biofloc, aquaponics, fish feed machines, air-conditioned vehicles and fish keeping.

In this section, fish farming in cages, colourful fish farming, promotion and branding, fish keeping will be done.

The government has started this scheme to promote fish farming in the country. It is also being called the Blue Revolution.
